A Structured Approach
In order to carry out a comprehensive review
of a network infrastructure, we deploy a
project team with clearly defined roles:
Management Consultant:
to provide
operational and project management,
contribute report generation, vet
methodology, analysis and report content,
attend principal project meetings.
Lead Consultant: to carry out specified onsite
analysis, contribute to report generation,
act as key point of client liaison and attend all
relevant site meetings.
Support Consultant:
to provide research
support where required to the managing and
lead consultants.
Cabling/Comms Room Engineer:
to carry out
surveys, audit and testing and to report to the
lead consultant for analysis, liaison with
client.
An initial meeting is held with key client
personnel to discuss the full scope of the
project. Following these discussions, a formal
terms of reference document is prepared and
presented to the client for sign off.

recommendations for improvement are

stipulate performance standards and time
scales for project activities and deliver on
time.
